A note of thanks

313 Media Co. was built on relationships — clients who took the first meeting, guests who said yes to the mic, and partners who sent the referral without ever being asked.

This dinner is how we say thank you — and how we introduce you to one another.

Dillon England · Founder

Seven floors of Albert Kahn's Detroit, and a room of its owners in the middle of it.

The keynote

Between courses

One keynote, one welcome from the host, and a room that will not need warming up.

Keynote

Michael King Jr.

Keynote speaker · Executive coach
Founder & CEO, Teams.Coach

Some people fill a room. Michael moves one.

He does not arrive with a deck and a clicker. Every keynote opens with an original cinematic film and a live saxophone, then turns into strategy that lands in the body rather than the notebook. Named Best Executive Coach in 2024 and again in 2026, he works with Fortune 500 executives on closing the gap between who they are and how they lead.

Host, The Dillon England Show

Relationships are what drive business. Everything else is execution.

Seven years in full-commission sales taught him that the people who ask better questions and follow up are the ones who win. He tested the same idea on a podcast, and it returned 1.5 million organic views. He opens the evening with the short version of what that proved — and closes it with the toast.

The Club

The Detroit Athletic Club

Founded in 1887. The Albert Kahn clubhouse — opened in 1915 and drawn from Rome's Palazzo Farnese — has anchored Detroit's theatre district ever since: seven floors of ballrooms and dining rooms across from Music Hall, visible beyond centre field at Comerica Park.

For more than 130 years the Club's stated purpose has been to enrich people's lives through meaningful connections. We could not have picked a better room.

Parking
Valet and self-parking are both available in the DAC garage on Madison. Doors open at 5:15, and arriving then keeps the valet line short.
Dress code — please read
The DAC enforces its own code, and staff will ask any guest out of code to correct it on the spot. In the absence of a specific rule, the Club asks you to err toward formality — so do we.
